When you actually watch the movie it is clear as water that he isn't trying to be funny. The guy lives in the desert in his car and only consumes tuna out of the can. It's just a really stupid and weird character trait. You have to actually make something and then become a joke to become aware of your joke status and cash in on it with your follow up movies. You can't become a self-aware joke in your first film. He has no idea.Īlso the shit with the tuna was in Double Down, his FIRST film. You need to actually watch these movies to understand this because a trailer can not properly display how. It is not self aware unintentional comedy AT ALL. Having watched them all this is not the case. Maybe we can get him to sign something for us? Hopefully he has his movies there to buy because you can't find them fuckin' anywhere online, all of his websites are broken and defunct except for the most recent for Pass-Thru and the only movie Amazon carries is Fateful Findings. There's a screening in LA at the end of this month and my roommate and I are going. He has a new movie, Pass-Thru, that he just completed last fall and is doing the rounds with. Too bad they don't make a lick of fucking sense. There is not a hint of self-awareness to these, Breen genuinely thinks he is making legit cinema with important messages. He has a massive fucking boner for corrupt corporations and politicians, his movies would be preachy to the point of unwatchable if they made any sense at all.
